Congratulations to the Girls’ JV Softball team for a fine home opener against Canisteo-Greenwood yesterday.
Though not necessarily reflected on the scoreboard, the girls did a great job, especially on the field.
We have three home games next week, starting with Campbell-Savona on Monday. We enjoyed having all the fan support on the field yesterday, and look forward to seeing you next week.
May 12th
The Girls’ JV Softball team had a much better showing against Campbell-Savona last night evening, holding them to 11 runs through five innings.
Good job girls!
We will meet up with Avoca on Wednesday and Hammondsport on Friday. The weather is looking good, so please come out and join us for both home games!
May 14th
The girl’s JV Softball team had a fine showing against the Avoca Tigers through the sixth inning. Dallas Armentano and Gracie Dreher did a great job on the mound. Scorers for JT included Liz VanOrsdale, Bethany Leach, Danielle Armentano, and Hailey Post. Nice job ladies!
The girls will host their final home game against Hammondsport this Friday afternoon. Erin Thomas will start on the mound, with support from Alena Owens.
May 19th
THE GIRLS’ JV SOFTBALL TEAM lost to Canisteo-Greenwood Redskins yesterday 13-7. Erin Thomas did a great job on the mound, lodging 11 strike-outs. There were some solid hits by the Wildcats, including a triple by Dallas Armentano. Scorers for JT included Jessica Roy, Gracie Dreher, Danielle Armentano, Hailey Post, and Bethany Leach.
