A Riddle

I sit on the top shelf at the store

this place is such a bore

On one side is the trucks

the other is the ducks

but I sit in the middle next to Sue

Jenny and Molly too!

There we are all dressed in red

Just waiting for a ride with that little girl on her sled

People are walking by

no one stopping to say "Hi"

Then one day a lady stopped to look

but she picked up a book

Later she came back and picked me

and took me away as fast as can be

It was a long dark ride but I know it will pay

I was taken out and wrapped that day

I heard of it once but I never thought I would be trapped

then one day I heard something and I was unwrapped

This little girl jumped for joy

when she saw me there this happy little toy.
